  • Manage the work order screening process and review work requests to determine legitimacy and prioritization of work
  • Create accurate and effective maintenance plans for the scheduling and manpower forecasting for weekly, monthly, and long-term maintenance schedules
  • Participate in the creation and continuous improvement of PMs, Task Lists, and BOMs
  • Assist in developing maintenance budgets for assigned area of responsibility
  • Identify task description, required resources, materials, services, tools, duration, and cost estimate of each task and provide guidance for efficient and effective execution
  • Monitor maintenance costs and identify variances to the budget
  • Manage the planning of major equipment outages and significant repairs by utilizing project-planning techniques and software
  • Other related activities as required
Please note that this role is based in Labrador West. Local candidates are strongly preferred.About You
  • Post-Secondary education or Journeyperson certificate in a related technical field (Heavy Equipment, Millwright, Electrical, or Mechanical)
  • 5 years experience in Maintenance Supervision, Maintenance Planning, or a closely related discipline in a heavy industrial or mining environment
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), scheduling programs, and maintenance programs/databases
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Unwavering commitment to health, safety, and environmental protection
  • Fluent in English with fluency in French being a definite asset
Please note that you will be required to work in an industrial environment. This may include working at heights, dirty/dusty and noisy environments, and confined spaces.
