Job Description

  • Local or temporary relocation preferred - fly in/fly out may be possible for particularly qualified candidates
  • Develop and maintain a training program for equipment operators in a mining environment - drills, shovels, haul trucks
  • Prepare course materials, videos, etc.
  • Deliver classroom and in-field hands-on training to new operators
  • Other related activities as required
About You
  • Experience with P&H open pit mining shovels
  • 10+ years of operator experience
  • 2+ years of training experience
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Unwavering commitment to health, safety, and environmental protection
  • Fluent in English with fluency in French being a definite asset
Please note that you will be required to work in an industrial environment. This may include working at heights, dirty/dusty and noisy environments, and confined spaces. All personal protective equipment and site-specific training will be provided.A negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, along with an acceptable driving record are important parts of our safety program and are requirements for employment.
