RAPS is Seeking a Full Time Support Worker to Assist an individual with Cerebral Palsy (E2)Location: West Edmonton (The Hamptons)Days/Hours: Monday – Thursday 3pm-8pmSunday and Monday Overnight Partial AwakeSunday- 6:30pm-9:30amMonday – 11pm-9:30amJob Description: Duties include but are not limited to: mechanical transfers with a ceiling track lift, suppositories when necessary (rarely), changing adult briefs, range of motion exercises, medication administration, bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, light housekeeping & laundry, walks (weather permitting), support while on community outings, supervision, and companionship.The Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and actively participate with the client.Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check and experience/education in the health care field (minimum 3 months, Driver’s license and Vehicle considered an asset, must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Current First Aid & CPR are considered as assets.
