Job Description

Position: Building Manager (Full Time, Permanent)Location: Vancouver, BCStart Date: ASAPAbout UsTribe Management is part of the Tribe Property Technologies family. Together we are the sixth largest strata/condo and rental management company in Canada with offices in Vancouver, Delta, Victoria, Kelowna, Kamloops, Calgary, and Cambridge. Our Tribe Management division specializes in strata and rental management services. We are responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of residentialamp; mixed-use properties in our portfolio. Combining our obsession with technology and an unwavering passion for creating vibrant strata communities, we provide community management with heart. The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Building Manager to provide building management services at our managed property in Vancouver. Reporting to the Property Manager, the position will be responsible for assisting with a rental apartment building.Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all administrative work involved in the operation of the property according to established procedures and set out by instruction from the Property Manager;
  • Work cooperatively alongside other staff to ensure the property maintains a high standard of professionalism;
  • Issue Purchase Orders for all work and/or supplies being undertaken at the building and supervise the work of contractors;
  • Prepare detailed Incident Reports related to accidents, altercations, damage to the property, and/or other applicable incidents;
  • Deal with emergencies during the work week;
  • Schedule and supervise move in and move outs of the building;
  • Maintain accurate tenant files and collect rents; and
  • Other duties as required from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Previous building management experience required;
  • Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act required;
  • Motivated and professional with a service-oriented mindset;
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written;
  • Strong interpersonal skills - able to handle conflict tactfully;
  • Computer proficiency including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
