Job Description

HR & DEI Coordinator – Calgary, ABCertarus is the North American leader in providing low carbon energy solutions through a fully integrated compressed natural gas (CNG), renewable natural gas (RNG), and hydrogen platform. With the largest fleet of specialty trailers in the world, the company is uniquely positioned to meet the growing demand for low and zero-emission fuel distribution.Summary:The HR team at Certarus is currently recruiting for an HR & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator. The HR & DEI Coordinator will work closely with the HR team/DEI Committee to provide support on a variety of programs and initiatives. Responsible for providing a high level of support to the HR team, collecting data on HR and DEI trends, and supporting key HR programs, this position will appeal to candidates looking for experience across HR functions and who have a passion for DEI. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and switching gears as needed. The HR & DEI Coordinator reports to the HR Services Lead from the Calgary Head Office with a dotted line to the DEI Committee.Schedule:

  • This position holds normal business hours, with little to no travel expected
  • We support a hybrid work environment consisting of flexible remote and in-person collaboration at our Calgary or Houston offices
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support the roll out of corporate programs, policies, and engagement/DEI initiatives
  • Support annual reoccurring programs (talent reviews, compensation reviews, benefits enrollment,)
  • Maintain organizational charts, employee rosters and files and update internal stakeholders with employee change events
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as well as day to day support with internal systems and processes
  • Coordinate training for internal employees and assist in event planning when required
  • HR and DEI data collection, report generation, program writing and communication
  • Administer engagement and DEI surveys
  • Research and stay up to date on DEI best practices
  • Coordinate partnerships with driving schools, colleges, trades programs/apprenticeships and community groups while supporting the overall DEI recruiting efforts
  • Support the HR team, DEI Committee Leads, and Certarus Employee Resource Groups (WE3 Women’s’ ERG and PRIDE ERG) with administrative tasks and special projects
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or in a related field
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills with previous experience working within Excel to present data
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and communicate with a variety of stakeholders across HR and the business
  • Process orientated with strong organizational capabilities and high attention to detail
