Job Description

Manufacturing for a vast range of sectors including parts for armoured vehicles, the mine and the oilfield.Join our Progressive, Growing, Innovative Company as a:EstimatorOur Estimator is responsible for providing price cost estimates based on the evaluation and interpretation of customer supplied technical documents such as Requests for Quotations, Part Drawings, Bill of Materials and other types of part and assembly information.Your Objective:

  • Analyze drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
  • Identify internal and external procurement resources, materials, subcontractors and equipment needs
  • Act as a resource during the award / start-up phase; in collaboration with production ensure projects are run efficiently, profitably and on schedule
Success Requires:
  • Estimating, or job costing experience is a significant assett;
  • Experience in a manufacturing, machining, job shop or related environment is a REQUIREMENT.
  • Combinations of experience and education will be considered.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Above average mathematical skills; a strong, resourceful problem solver.
  • Attention to detail, time and priority management are necessary for success.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, continually adapt to change and work under pressure
