Job Description

The Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that each project in Saskatchewan has the proper materials through inventorying, ordering, and delivering for various sites across Saskatchewan.Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory of materials for transmission projects
  • Order and organize materials as needed
  • Ensure all space and equipment is safe and tidy
  • Coordinate the flow of materials between different teams and locations
  • Maintain inventory records and produce reports as needed
  • Frequent travel to pick up and deliver materials to different yard locations
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Highschool Diploma
  • Equipment operating experience is considered an asset
  • Experience in the construction/utility industry is preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License – Class 3 or 1 preferred
  • Must be willing to travel and work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong sense of safety
  • Able to lift up-to 50lbs
