Parallel Wood Products Ltd. in Williams Lake, BC is seeking to fill a weekend cleanup position. The successful candidate will prefer working weekends. We are a safe certified company and offer comprehensive safety orientation and training to all employees. If you have always wanted to work in a mill but did not apply because you thought previous experience was required, this may be a good opportunity for you. Previous experience is not a requirement.Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 5:00am to 5:00pm(8 hours straight-time (ST), 3 hours OT, 1 hour DT)Applicants will have:· attention to detail and be task oriented· ability to perform all clean-up duties safely using the English language· clean-up experience - preferably in an industrial setting· ability to physically complete all clean-up tasks including dusting, sweeping, and/or washing down production areas and/or related equipment· willingness to learn· safety as a core valueEvery employee will participate in comprehensive safety orientation training. Covid-19 protocols are part of our overall safety program.· Wages are competitive.
