An exciting opportunity exists for an Integrated Care Manager for Radway Long Term Care/ and Boyle DSL4/4D, looking to expand their practice into leadership. We are looking for an individual with a passion for providing resident/client and family-centered care to lead two interdisciplinary teams: Radway Continuing Care and Boyle DSL4/4D. The hamlet of Radway, located within the beautiful prairie landscape is only 70 km from Edmonton and offers up rich history and music festivals. The Village of Boyle is a quiet and peaceful town within close proximity to a multitude of northern Alberta locations and provincial parks. Boyle offers a variety of both indoor and outdoor recreational activities, as well as a variety of clubs which speaks to the active lifestyle of the residents. Please note, this facility provides Long Term Care (LTC) or Designated Supportive Living (DSL) services and by Order of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, many AHS employees are restricted to work only at a single LTC/DSL site for the remainder of the pandemic. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, as well as teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. Leadership skills. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities. Change management, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.
