You build what matters.We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative at SPM Oil & Gas, a newly acquired Caterpillar company.Roles and responsibilitiesAt SPM Oil & Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer service. In this role you will demonstrate the core values of SPM Oil and Gas at all times by ensuring all written policies and procedures are followed safely without deviation, act as an advocate of exemplary safety culture and exhibit a high degree of integrity at all times. You will demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability and a solid work ethic. Further;

  • Work closely with Sales and Operations team regarding future orders.
  • Create work orders and other relevant documentation.
  • Work with Sales, Operations and Manufacturing to provide customer with pricing, parts availability, and product information to internal to ensure on time delivery.
  • Converse with customers regularly to effectively schedule product needs.
  • Receive product requests from customers via e-mail, fax, or phone.
  • Perform data entry of customer orders, maintaining associated records.
  • Create Transfer Orders to Manufacturing or other service centers to obtain product
  • Work with shipping and/or schedules local logistic carriers to deliver product to customer sites
  • Work with receiving and/or warehouse to receive Rental Assets when returned
  • Work with warehouse to obtain billing information for rental repairs
  • Complete data entry on ongoing Service Orders, stop rental charges, repair charges and billing of Field Service Work
  • Refer customers technical inquiries to Engineering
  • Assist Sales and Operations with special projects
  • Understand and supports sales policies and procedures to provide superior customer service
  • Resolve issues with customers, acts as a liaison between customer and internal departments
  • Follow customer orders to completion to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Maintain a professional appearance and work attitude at all times
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and written
  • Must have the ability to perform independently or in a team setting
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Training will be provided.The successful candidate will have:High school diploma or GED with one year experience in inside sales or customer service account management, as well as data entry skills.Ability to read prints and drawings.Excellent verbal and communication skills.Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers to help solve issues, as well as provide pertinent product information regarding the ordering process.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes.
