Job Description

Assured Rentals is a leader in oilfield RentalsAssured Rentals is a leading rental equipment company looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full cycle bookkeeping, QuickBooks, invoicing, AR/AP, bank recs, payroll, GST remittance, general office administration, benefits administration, and safety program administration.Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle bookkeeping, including the preparation of financial statements and bank reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections
  • Prepare payroll and ensure all statutory deductions are remitted on time
  • Administer the companys benefits programs, including group benefits and retirement plans
  • Manage the companys safety program, including ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Oversee general office administration, including maintaining office supplies and equipment, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and scheduling appointments
  • Prepare and file GST remittances on a timely basis
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of benefits administration and safety program administration
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
