Responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to: Support in maintain detailed and accurate records of statistics, meetings and action plans using Excel and other databases Manage and update websites using content management system Proofread and edit documents and other communications for the team Coordinate team meetings, agendas and minute taking Maintain online file management system Provide administrative support with invoicing Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and in person, responding to requests, answering, or directing inquiries Support in the planning and execution of events Provide continued support to ensure the success of the departments goals and initiativesEducation/Experience Requirements: Post-secondary education in an administrative field and/or a minimum of 3 years experience Strong computer skills are essential Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) Previous experience with website/social media maintenance is an asset Knowledge of the Grande Prairie business community would be an assetSkills and Attributes: Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy High level of professionalism and enthusiasm Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to take initiative, with demonstrated resourceful and effective problem-solving skills Dependability, initiative, and a flair for creativity and ingenuity Willing to accommodate a flexible work schedule that could include some occasional evenings and weekendsWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.The County of Grande Prairie recognizes and values the principles of fair hiring practices.
