Job Description

The Janitor provides custodian/janitorial services for all County buildings: Community Services Building (admin only), Public Works/IT Building, Public Works Shop, Main Administration Building, FCSS Building, the Wellington Resource Center and Beaverlodge and Hythe buildings.Qualifications:Grade 12 Education (or equivalent)Valid Class 5 drivers license and acceptable drivers abstractReliable transportationSatisfactory Criminal Records CheckPrevious experience as a custodian or caretaker (asset)Ability to interact well with and respond to notifications and service requestsClose attention to detailInitiative and time management skills required to organize your own workAbility to perform minor maintenance tasks within established facility standardBasic computer skills and knowledgeResponsible to ensure building security and customer safetySuccessful applicants must have proven initiative, ability to work independently, be able to problem-solve and possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and the general public.This job is 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
