Act as liaison for internal and external customers and ability to provide downhole solutions for intervention issues.Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill organizational and Intervention product line goals efficiently and effectively.
  • Sources and allocates equipment and/or personnel requirements ensuring they are fit for purpose and in accordance with customer’s requirements/instructions.
  • Provides technical support for both Weatherford Fishing operations team and Customers and acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Planning work activities and schedules with employees and customer representatives on-site to ensure correct equipment is ordered, used, serviced, and maintained according to set procedures.
  • Assist workshop when required in the preparation and maintenance of downhole and fishing tools, ensuring they are maintained and inspected to relevant standards and fit for purpose, properly assembled for jobs
  • Communicate with customers and sales to perform services according to specifications.
  • Supervise location shop and field employees.
  • Determine need for equipment and supplies while maintaining appropriate levels of inventory.
  • Schedule supervisors and responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of their work, reports, and expenses.
  • Oversee general maintenance of equipment and facility
  • Recognize problems and improvements needed and passes these on to upper management. Promote forward thinking and assist in the development of plans and procedures that enhance company performance in response to changing market conditions.
  • Review performance against operating plans and standards. Provide reports to subordinates on interpretation of results. Consult with District Manager when there are substantial changes in plan direction.
  • Submit all required reports on a timely basis.
  • Required to work on a 24-hour call basis.
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
  • Provide orientation and on-the-job training for subordinates and ensure that the authority and responsibility for each position is defined and understood.
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
  • Maintain adequate, trained, and motivated staff of department personnel and ensure compliance with Company personnel policies and all governmental health, safety and employment practices
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6-8 years oilfield operational experience including 2-3 years as dispatch/coordinator experience.
  • 5 years related Fishing Experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Intervention and Fishing Technologies products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivator, self-starter: skilled at maintaining positive working relationship with employees and customers
  • High School diploma (or Secondary School Diploma or equivalent) as minimum.
  • Strong leadership and quality skills. Supervisory skills and experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth.
  • Understanding of budgetary process and fiscal responsibility requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Multi-tasking ability.
