Working at Cargill is an opportunity to thrive –a place to develop your career to the fullest while engaging in meaningful work that makes a positive impact around the globe!Job Type: Full TimeShift(s) Available: DayPrincipal Accountabilities:Supporting maintenance activities by managing an organized storeroom and verifying quantity and quality of equipment, tools, and parts.Receiving, logging, controlling, and auditing inventory to ensure that equipment, tools, and parts are readily availablePursuing continuous improvement of storeroom processesUtilizing a computerized maintenance management system to support maintenance activitiesAssembling and distributing job kits as directedInteracting regularly with peers and management to promote a teamwork focused environmentComprehending schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manualsOperating mobile equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lift, etc.Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and proceduresMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assignedBasic Requirements:Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in CanadaMust be 18 years or olderHigh school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experienceAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work invaried indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticeAt least 1 year of inventory control experienceDemonstrated professionalism through written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsBasic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:Experience operating a forklift and/or similar equipmentConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (204) area code.
