This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business, where we seamlessly connect farming customers with food, feed and industry.Location: Clavet, SKJob Type: Full timeShifts Available: RotatingCompensation: $38.65/hrPrincipal Accountabilities:Operate all equipment associated with the prep process, including flakers, Expellers, Oil handling and Percon analysis systemMonitor and adjust operation using computerized and controlled systems to meet department requirementsEnsure accurate information of scale weights and transactions are recorded dailyProcess samples utilizing lab equipment to obtain and record values on a computer spreadsheet and collect samples for several process areasInspect buildings, grounds, and equipment utilized by facility; determine immediate and long range needs for housekeeping, maintenance and repair work. Enter work orders utilizing maintenance computer programMaintain analytical instrumentation used for process sample results and follow good laboratory practicesUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulationsMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in CanadaMust be 18 years or olderAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lift up to 50lbs regularly, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to understand and communicate in English (Verbal/Written)Basic computer skillsAbility to work overtime including weekends, holidays, different shifts, or be on call with advance noticeAbility to operate machinery and/or industrial equipmentMay require a valid Canadian full class 5 driver’s licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employmentPreferred Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentWorking knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and WordForklift experienceExperience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Prior experience in production related workConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (204) area code.
