Working at Cargill is an opportunity to thrive – a place to develop your career to thefullest while engaging in meaningful work that makes a positive impact around the globe!Job Type: Full TimeShift Available: Regular day shiftPrincipal Accountabilities:➢ Perform the daily operations of the facility safely, efficiently and profitably.Performing facility operations such as receiving and shipping of seed, fert and chemical Ensure proper handling and storage of seed and crop inputs products Basic maintenance and operator care of equipment Maintain inventory records, perform counts and investigate discrepancies.➢ Provide excellent customer service and engaging with team membersCoordinate operations, support sales and customer service activities Administrate transactions for shipping, receiving and customer payments. Collaborate with the Sales and Agronomy team to execute on customer sales and product forecasting Portray professional image, both personally and throughout the location Liaison with internal and external supplier contacts➢ Maintain a safe and clean work environmentUnderstanding and adhere to all safety rules and regulations Lead safety related activities for the facility: safety training, maintain regulatory and compliance requirements. Conduct regular site inspections, hold monthly safety meetings with staff to review procedures and safety awareness issues. Other duties as assigned under the direction of the Retail Manager and Plant MangerRequired Qualifications:Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Must be 18 years or older Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) Basic use of a computer Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with he use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) Possess a valid Canadian Class 5 driver’s license and be able to safely operate a 5 ton delivery vanPreferred QualificationsAbility to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice Basic mechanical aptitudeThis is a full time position located in Birch Hills, SK.Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (204) area code.
