You will assist with payroll and benefits functions including creating and maintaining employee records, enrolling employees in pension and benefits, calculating and completing retro-active payments, salary increases, adjustments and providing information to Human Resources Offices. You will administer the employee benefits program and ensure that all benefits documents are completed accurately and entered into the payroll system as well as our 3rd party benefits database.The Human Resources Assistant, will develop and maintain effective means of organizing and accessing information, suggest the development of tools, programs and training to address recurrent issues and participate in the implementation of new programs, policies and procedures.This is a hands-on role, working as a team to best support the business with its Human Resources payroll and benefits needs.
