Land and Sky Grains is a progressive grain farm committed to empowering sustainable agriculture and is seeking a permanent Farm Equipment Operator.Are you an excellent equipment operator, knowledgeable about leading agriculture production methods and technology Are you looking for a full-time opportunity on a team that respects work-life balance, family focus, and sustainable agriculture If this description fits you then this role is right for you.Essential Functions:Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment in tillage, seeding, spraying, harvesting and hauling grainWork with the team to maintain equipment and shop; including daily preventative maintenanceUse technology hardware/software for efficient task completion and accurate data collection;Essential Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to frequently lift and carry items up to 50 lbsWilling and able to work outside in all weather conditionsClass 5 Drivers licenseExperience in crop farmingGIS/GPS technology knowledgeStrong communication skillsAbility to work longer hours during critical seasonsExcellent interpersonal skillsFlexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functionsAssets:Post-Secondary education;Class 1A license;Heavy equipment maintenance experience;Administrative experience;Leadership experience.Compensation Package:Starting wage is competitive and is contingent upon experience.
