You will focus on winning new business and delivering clients comprehensive Commercial Transportation insurance solutions while arranging efficient transportation services with insurers. As your portfolio grows, you will retain ownership of clients - ensuring client retention and working towards growing Gallagher’s partnership, using the software available at Gallagher for monitoring, planning, and strategy execution.LocationWe have several offices in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, preferably in Hartland.Work EnvironmentHybrid (Agile) – We at Gallagher enjoy the benefits of working remotely while also collaborating and interacting with each other in the office.How You Will Influence the Business

  • Teamwork with the Transportation National team to drive new business growth and maximize retention with existing clients.
  • Generate new business income; identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and concierge the client through the binding process.
  • Delivering Gallagher’s comprehensive commercial insurance solutions, working with c-suite
  • Support and develop a portfolio of clients, playing a lead role in business retention and continually building upon customer relationships.
  • Partnering with Gallagher’s service, marketing and administrative teams – deliver accurate and timely delivery renewals for your portfolio clients, taking the necessary steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when required, and working toward the binding.
  • Acting to keep current with insurance markets and changing coverages within the industry, including participating in insurer networking events

Education and Experience
  • 2+ years of Customer Service, trucking, transportation, or Commercial Insurance Brokering experience required.
  • Experience with specialized insurance products or industry segments an asset.
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or other relevant certifications/designations are highly valued.
  • Active and in good standing broker License considered ideal, or willingness to complete within 3 months.
  • Knowledge of EPIC is considered an asset.
