Our industry recognition is a testament to the family values we share with our parent company, McCain Foods Limited.About the RoleEnvironmental CoordinatorFull-timeHartland, NBThe Environment Coordinator works closely with the Environmental Specialist to coordinate and deliver programs and projects across the Day & Ross Transportation Group. The incumbent will be responsible for training stakeholders.How You’ll Help

• Assisting with project work completing annual submissions for fleet transport efficiency and GHG inventory reporting.
• Performing routine analysis of environmental data to support Day & Ross’s sales team in customer RFI’s, RFP’s and other data requests required.
• Executing on annual data gathering for completing submissions and scoring for Day & Ross’s ESG program with external rating groups.
• Utilize a variety of Day & Ross systems to process invoices for group projects.
• Collect invoices and enter data for all terminals fuel and electricity consumption to develop our corporate GHG inventory
• Assisiting with the onboarding of new fleet vehicles and conducting analysis for the placement of electric and alternative fuel vehicles.
• Mapping out available rebates and incentives for electric vehicles in North America as we roll out our fleet electrification strategy continually keeping a pulse on current trends nationally and regionally.
• General data collection and analysis as required focused on tracking and reducing Day & Ross’s environmental footprint.
• Other related duties as may be required

Your Skills & Experience:

• Post-secondary education in an Environmental or other relevant field
• A suitable combination of post-secondary education and experience may be considered
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Safety or Compliance regulatory environment
• Understand environmental regulations, statutes, requirements across North America
• Advanced skills building and maintaining relationships across all levels of the organization
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal; including the delivery of presentations and learning programs
• Demonstrated analytical decision-making, project management, innovative problem solving, prioritization, and internal consulting
• Ability to communicate technical ideas and concepts with public and non-technical personnel
• Strong judgment, planning and strategic skills
• Strong sense of urgency coupled with robust organizational and time management skills; including the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced setting, multitask and prioritize in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently and to collaborate with others to meet expectations
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office, as well as the aptitude for learning new programs
