To achieve it, we’re bringing together people with unique stories, perspectives, backgrounds and talent – and we need yours too!About the Role:As the Project Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing project controls, project supervision, program management, budgeting and cost management support to the Project Owners delivering CAPEX projects for the Renewables team. Specific responsibilities include:

• Oversight of the portfolio of renewable energy projects
• Provide quality control and quality assurance for projects
• Provide contract management and procurement support to Project Managers
• Development of business cases including cost benefit analysis
• Lead the monthly project review and flag key actions required
• Mentor and train Project Support Staff

AGL Renewables operates Wind Farms in SA, VIC, NSW and QLD, Solar Farms in NSW and Hydro Power Stations in NSW and VIC including large Hydro schemes in the Kiewa Valley, Eildon & Dartmouth. The bulk of the CAPEX Projects being undertaken relate to the Hydro assets with work based out of Mt Beauty.About You:You will be a professional with extensive experience in the oversight of large refurbishment, upgrade or new construction projects. You will demonstrate an amazing eye for detail in order to manage the commercial and risk management aspects of the project portfolio.What you bring to the table:

• Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, Management or Commercial discipline
• Demonstrated understanding of project and program management principles
• Experience working with AS/NZ/ISO schemes including PMBOK, Risk Management, Quality Management Systems – Projects and Earned Value Management
• Advanced communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Strong analytical and conceptual skill, including advanced Microsoft Excel
• An understanding and commitment to HSE responsibilities
• Certification from the Australian Institute of Project Management is desirable
