YCS is looking for a Part-Time 20 hrs/week Transit Driver to join our team. This position will be based out of Lillooet, BC.Key Duties include but are not limited to the following:Drive transit vehicles to transport passengers on Health Connections routes to Kamloops and Special Transit Trip requests.Provide route information to transit passengers and collection of fares.Assist elderly passengers and persons with disabilities with loading/unloading, and securement of wheelchairs within established safety procedures.Maintain records and makes reports as required.Inspect vehicles and performs pre-operation, during operation, and post-operation checks.Complete daily routine cleaning as per checklist of interior and exterior of transit vehicles.Additional hours may be offered based on program needs.QualificationsMinimum grade 12 education is required. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience operating a commercial vehicle and/or providing passenger transportation services. Other requirements include a Clear Criminal Records Check, Acceptable Commercial Driver’s Abstract and a Class 1, 2 or Unrestricted Class 4 Driver’s License.A competitive wage and benefit package is available.
