To be successful in this role, you will have a strong foundation of technical expertise and credentials, exceptional communication abilities, and effective leadership that cultivates a positive and supportive workplace culture.Our ideal candidate

  • Has thorough knowledge in leadership, planning, scheduling, coordinating and quality assurance in wastewater treatment plant operationsamp; maintenance.
  • Has experience in business planning, operatingamp; capital budgeting,amp; monitoringamp; reporting.
  • Has working knowledge of industryamp; City regulations, acts,amp; approvals.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills and have demonstrated your ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a systematic approach and independent judgement to make sound decisions and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Possess Alberta Level IV Wastewater Treatment Certification.
  • Seven (7) years operating experience in a large municipal treatment facility including four (4) years experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Valid Class 3 with air Alberta Driver #39;s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • An equivalent combination of management approved training and experience may be considered.
  • This position has been identified as Safety Sensitive and required the completion of a satisfactory pre-employment drug screen.
