Job Description

Performs ultrasound examinations on both inpatients and outpatients, providing diagnostic and evidentiary data for physicians to interpret.Job Requirements:Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology
  • Membership with Sonography Canada or ARDMS (CRVS) certification is required
  • Proficiency in all of the following:
    • Abdomen/Pelvis/OBs /IPS,
    • Venous/Carotid Doppler
    • Small Parts,
    • MSK would be an asset
  • Proven skill in the production of high-quality ultrasound images
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
Preferred Skills:
  • Computer skills;
  • 1 year experience as an ultra-sonographer
Assets:
  • Fluency in both English & French
  • CPR certification

Required to provide availability for a minimum of six shifts per month. Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
