Job Description

  • Advantage Machine & Tool Inc., is a fast-paced growing custom machine shop, specializing in prototyping/production/job shop work in the general manufacturing/automotive/aviation/aerospace industries, has an opening for a CNC Machinist.
  • This position requires CNC Programming, and a variety of CNC Lathe and CNC Mill experience. A successful candidate will be able to produce quality product from start to finish.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of 2D/3D Programming is also an asset, as well as the ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, set up and adjust production machines/tools, and machine parts to close tolerances.
  • Other responsibilities include: program and set up the CNC machine for daily production, measure machined components using gauge blocks, pin gauges, micrometers, etc., complete documentation (in-process inspection reports, work orders, non-conformance reports, daily timesheets).
