To maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment. Responsible for updating and maintaining manual and computerized reports associated with shipping/receiving.Major DutiesVerifies quantities of all materials shipped and receivedDocuments any discrepancies and notifies appropriate departments regarding shortagesComplete relavent data entry and documents for shipments.Provides physical counts of inventory as required.Monitor incoming materials and outgoing products as per HACCP and Food Safety and Quality Manual to ensure product safety and quality during receiving, storage and shipping.Check and stage the necessary materials based on product specifications and age of the product.QUALIFICATIONSExcellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)Necessary math skills for reportingExperience computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel)Ability to organize, plan and reportMust be a Team player, able to work well in a team environmentPossession of a valid forklift license is a strong assettAZ licence is an assetWorking ConditionsThis position is physical and and entails lifting and moving heavy equipment.The work environment is wet, damp and refrigerated. Warm clothing is required.Hearing protection is mandatory.The use of safety shoes is mandatory.
