Job Description

Our team members are expected to adopt all of BBE’s internal processes, master the art of Amazon selling, and have a proactive attitude.As a member of our Inventory team, you are responsible for planning and placing replenishment orders with our vendors and allocating where that inventory belongs in our fulfillment network. This is key to the growth and success as we embark on our goals.Responsibilities

    • As a member of our Inventory team, you are responsible for planning and placing replenishment orders with our vendors and allocating where that inventory belongs in our fulfillment network.
    • Build and manage purchases for vendors alongside Planners. This includes analyzing orders once they are placed, managing the shipments and backorders for those vendors, etc.
    • Be responsible for communication with our vendors. as it pertains to placing and managing purchases.
    • Works with vendor management team to build strategy at a category, vendor and SKU level
    • Be responsible for KPIs of the pod - Out of stock rate, Inventory Turn, Obsolete Slow-Moving Inventory, and Sell-Through Rate
    • Provide in-depth analysis to identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability from an inventory standpoint.
    • Identify ways to proactively move obsolete and slow-moving inventory while minimizing negative financial impact.
    • Deliver ad hoc vendor analysis to Supply Chain & Vendor Management teams as needed.
Qualifications
    • Strong Business Intelligence - complex SQL queries and data management
    • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
    • Strong Problem Solving & Analytical Skills
    • Experience in inventory planning preferred
    • Experience with multi-channel retail or ecommerce order environment
