Job Description

Our team members are expected to adopt all of BBE’s internal processes, master the art of Amazon selling, and have a proactive attitude.We are looking for a booking coordinator who will release ocean bookings with ocean carriers via intrnal systems and submit shipping instructions to External Partners.Responsibilities

    • Release ocean bookings with ocean carriers via internal systems.
    • Submit shipping instructions to External Partners.
    • Review carrier booking reports and manage any exceptions (cancellations, status change, etc)
    • Ensure ocean freight payments are accurately processed in a timely manner.
    • Provide administrative coordination, communication, and document control for assigned project(s).
    • Ability to track and update Ocean Vessel status.
    • Prepares import documentation for data entry.
    • Correspond with internal and external clients / customers / vendors via email.
    • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
    • Knowledge/Experience of Importing/Freight Forwarding
    • 2 + years in related work experience.
    • Proficient in Excel.
    • Detail oriented for processing bookings and data entry.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively present and communicate with all levels within the organization, with agencies and vendors.
    • Excellent multi-tasking capability, highly organized and high attention to detail are required due to complexity and volume of operations.
    • Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines and adjust to sudden changes in workflow.
    • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy
What You Need
    • This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
    • Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
      • 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
      • at least 4GB RAM;
      • Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
    • A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
    • PC Headset
    • High-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
