St. Jacobs Place Retirement Residence offers luxury retirement and assisted living in Ontarios rural gem, the village of St. Jacobs, at the northern edge of Kitchener Waterloo. We are a lovely intimate size with only 50 suites, permitting time for some creativity and special touches from our cooks and servers.Dining Position Summary will include but is not limited to:· delivering seamless services to residents to create a pleasant dining experience· Portion out and serve food and beverages within the dining room· Wash dishes and utensils; operate dishwasher· Stack clean dishes and utensils; also set, clear and clean dining tables· Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing counter tops, sinks, machines, and equipment and spot washing walls and splash areasQualifications:· strong organizational and time management skills· understand and have experience with the Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points· Able to provide speedy, efficient, courteous, and tactful customer service while you work with other staff and function effectively in a team environment· Ability and willingness to multitask, work effectively under pressure and flexible hours when necessaryThis is a permanent part time position approximately 6 shifts biweekly (4:00 pm to 8:00 pm) including every second weekend.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentSalary: $16.00 per hourSchedule:
