Job Description

  • Akamai CDN expertise to offload to last mile.
  • Ensure the solution meets the standards of Scalability, Accessibility, Performance and Security
  • Work with the development team to drive the solution to delivery
  • Perform Quality review of the low level design and the code to confirm they meet the recommended solution design and the coding standards
  • Support the development team throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Support the project during the Post Implementation Phase until hand off and project closure
Requirements
  • Akamai, AWS, and Google cloud (GCP)
  • Participates in strategic and operational planning as it pertains to the development of Software / Cloud applications for digital media.
  • Leads other architects with minimal supervision and uses independent judgement frequently.
  • Responsible for architecting systems across a broad range of IT or Network environments, including the target environment. Designs and develops IT or Network architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
  • Takes responsibility for technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.
  • Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings
  • Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
Benefits
  • Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hours weeks working onsite 3 days a week
  • Location: Toronto, Hybrid 3 days in person
  • Type of job: Temporary Contractor
  • Hourly contract rate: TBD depending on experience
  • Date candidate required: Immediate
  • Length of Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension
