Job DescriptionContract End Date/Length: to be confirmedOur client in the global professional services industry will soon be seeking a Bilingual Content QA Lead proficient in both French and English to oversee quality assurance processes within their dynamic team and we #39;re looking to create a pool of talent within this space so that we #39;re ready for future potential hiring.The ideal candidate(s) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance of content generated by authors in both languages. Functioning as a mentor and coach to junior analysts, the Bilingual Content QA Lead will uphold high standards of quality and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and outputs.If you #39;re interested in joining our pool of talent that can be considered for this opportunity, please do submit a copy of your resume along with any relevant writing samplesWhat you will do:

  • Function as a QA lead for pods of 15 authors, providing guidance and oversight to ensure adherence to annotation guidelines and quality standards.
  • Utilize strong reading and writing skills in both English and French to review and assess content for proper spelling, grammar, and linguistic accuracy.
  • Demonstrate good analytical skills to summarize long-form English and French content into concise and informative formats, maintaining clarity and relevance.
  • Possess good general knowledge and the ability to independently research information sources to verify accuracy and completeness of content.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation, encouraging authors to think creatively and generate diverse topics for content creation.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to more junior analysts, providing support, feedback, and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Assume ownership and responsibility for the quality of work produced by the team, ensuring high-quality data input into the client #39;s NLP model.
  • Understand how to accurately localize content for specific countries, considering linguistic, cultural, and regional characteristics.
  • Maintain proficiency in the English language to comprehend training delivered in English and interpret metadata fields.
  • Organize ad hoc trainings for authors, addressing specific areas of improvement and providing additional guidance as needed.
  • Process inquiries and feedback from authors, addressing issues and implementing solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Run statistics and define strategies to drive increased throughput and quality improvements, contributing to the overall success of the team.
