Skillsoft is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the definition, implementation, and continued improvement of technology capabilities for the Finance, Fulfillmentamp; Procurement organizations. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a strategic and cohesive technology roadmap that supports business outcomes. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a critical role in driving innovation, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment between business goals and technology solutions. • Enterprise Architecture Discipline: Promote the value of enterprise architecture, define and drive adoption of Architecture operating model and portfolio of services. Coach and mentor team members and business stakeholders to instill architectural thinking. Establish and participate in a collaborative community of architects to guide transformation and resolve any conflicts across technology dependencies and competing enterprise business outcomes.
• Architecture Strategy: Define and execute the architecture strategy for Finance, Fulfillmentamp; Procurement, aligning it with business objectives and driving innovation within the organization. Determine the relationship between people, processes, information, technology and other components of the enterprise operating model. Analyze trends and disruptions and assess their impact on targeted business outcomes and supporting technology footprint.
• Business Strategy: Provide consultative advice, adapted to stakeholder context, to business leaders and organizational stakeholders on actionable recommendations to make investment decisions about business and operating model options, where technology can influence and advance capabilities
• Technology Roadmap: Develop and maintain a technology roadmap for Finance, Fulfillmentamp; Procurement inclusive of IT and business managed solutions, considering emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive digital transformation and improve customer experiences. Maintains the alignment, integration and coordination of architecture activities across different programs, projects and products as they evolve over time. Provide inputs and guidance into estimating process.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable and efficient technology solutions that enhance Finance, Fulfillmentamp; Procurement operations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and identifying opportunities for rationalization. Facilitate analysis of the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
• Solution Delivery: Develops and applies minimal viable aritectures, which can include a set of standards, reference architecture patterns, principles and guardrails, through the EA governance model, which is informed by the business strategy and corporate governance. Clarifies accountability and provides the focal point for agile, effective and efficient decision making. Collaborates with delivery teams to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture, as well as to leverage shared technologies, tools and processes that impact speed to value and time to market.
• System Integration: Identify opportunities for system integration and orchestration, enabling data flow and process automation across various Finance, Fulfillmentamp; Procurement platforms.
• Data Management: Ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of Finance, Fulfillmentamp; Procurement data, collaborating with data teams to implement effective data management strategies and governance frameworks.
• Vendor Evaluation and Management: Evaluate third-party vendors and technologies, managing relationships and partnerships to ensure the selection and implementation of the most suitable solutions for the organization #39;s needs.

​SKILLSamp; QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor #39;s or Master #39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role, designing and implementing technology solutions for back-office operations.
• In-depth understanding of back-office processes, such as finance, e-fulfillment, procurement, and legal operations, as well as related technologies and platforms.
• Strong expertise in solution design and architecture principles, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technology solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with integration technologies (e.g., API management, ESB) and experience in implementing data integration solutions.
• Solid understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data privacy, and data analytics.
• Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
• Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
