Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Finance Transformation Leader and senior accountant with migration from Oracle to SAP
Review documentation from EPAM sessions to keep track of project status for all towers (RTR, PTP, OTC, Treasury and Tax)
Assist with proposing a methodology for capturing information systematically at a transactional level
Help with user acceptance testing for SAP
Collaborate with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team to ensure that appropriate stakeholders are identified for training and an accurate picture of current vs. future state is captured by the training
Engage with the Riskamp; Controls team to identify process risk areas and areas that will require new controls

Skills and Experience

10+ years of professional accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA preferred
Prior exposure to systems implementation, project planning, and/or business integration is required
Strong working knowledge of a general ledger and subledgers
Experience with controls and SOX is a plus
Prior work experience using accounting automation and interfaces
High competency with accounting software (Oracle, SAP, OneStream, Blackline) and MS Excel
Problem solver; solution driven individual
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Highly organized and good time management
Ability to communicate clearly from end-user to senior management
Demonstrates initiative
Results driven and proactive; strong desire to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence and timeliness
Ability to stay on track and meet deadlines
