The role will provide the candidate an opportunity to gain an introductory experience to the mining industry, a publicly listed international company and exposure to the day-to-day functions of the Corporate Communications department.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist Corporate Communications department with a variety of tasks, including:Administrative work Updating internal communications website and intranet Website maintenance Social media communications BrandingMinimum RequirementsEnrolled in a diploma/degree, or related discipline Excellent grasp of communications principles and practices; strong writing skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to perform well in a team environment Strong knowledge of social media communications; CMS experience an asset Strong Word and PowerPoint abilities; Photoshop experience an asset Ability to communicate in Spanish, Portuguese and/or French considered an asset Experience working and/or knowledge of the resource industry (mining, oil/gas or power in particular) is considered an assetOur Approach to COVID-19In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in alignment with our health and safety standards, all Kinross Gold Corporation employees working from the Toronto office must be fully vaccinated with at least two doses of an approved vaccine.
