Job Description

Job DescriptionThe Square Global Incubator Sales team is responsible for managing multiple sales experiments within the Salesamp; Account Management organization.The experiments range between internal sales-driven experiments, Square product-led experiments, and in some cases Block-wide experiments (ex. Afterpay). Our role is to set the goals of the experiment, lead the initial sales discoveryamp; evaluation, collect seller feedback, and advise product teamsamp; other DRIs on the sales resultsamp; overall learnings.We serve the following markets: US, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, and Australia.You will:

  • Own the outbound strategy for assigned Incubator projects. You will be expected to source leads, cold call, and email them to generate interest and close deals selling our Square ecosystem to prospective merchants.
  • Conduct prospecting, discovery, demos and develop a solution with first and third party offerings that best meets the prospects needs.
  • As needed, go into the field and execute the sales motion to build strong relationships and increase win rates.
  • Oversee the sales cycle from prospect to discovery. Depending on the project, you will then co-sell with the our Square sales team to demo, negotiate, and close the prospective seller.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly Incubator Sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to ensure our solutions meet the needs of the market.
  • You will manage at least two substantial projects at all times. You will be expected to handle smaller tasks in parallel with your two assigned projects.
  • Be responsible for authoring and maintaining Project Summary docs. These documents are built in conjunction with cross functional partners and other DRIs connected to the experiment.
