Position: IT Shared Services Operations Lead Location: Downtown Toronto/ Hybrid Job Type: Permanent, full-time Our client, a leading transportation company, is seeking an experienced IT Shared Services Operations Lead (ITSO) to join their team. In this role, you will take on the responsibility of establishing an ITSO right from the ground up. This role involves spearheading the development of the ITSO roadmap, strategic approach and ensuring its successful execution. Your New Role: You will streamline shared services operations for consistency and efficiency, collaborate on budgets and vendor management, implement refined risk strategies, and maintain transparent communication. You will work in tandem with IT suppliers, Program Managers, and other Technology teams to facilitate timely procurement, contract renewals, and license management, all while maintaining a high standard of service excellence. Additionally, you #39;ll lead daily operations with a focus on budget, risk, and service quality, engage stakeholders effectively, solve challenges, and drive continuous improvement. This is a full-time permanent position with great benefits and other perks. Key Requirements: - 5+ years of experience working in IT vendor management/procurement, with a at least 3 years of IT Project Management experience - Demonstrated proficiency in strategic sourcing, IT contract negotiation, and competitive price analysis - Extensive expertise in IT Project and Program Management using Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.) - Previous experience with Azure cloud transformations, Azure IoT Hub, Azure data integration, CICD pipelines, and advanced Azure API management (preferred) - Strong IT Service Operations skills: Budget planning, IT infrastructure, service delivery, tech-business alignment, and customer expectation management - Strong leadership abilities, forward-thinking, data-driven, with a focus on team coaching and mentoring - Deep commitment to lean (SAFe), agile, and flow principles - Competent in Project Management, Collaboration, and Productivity tools (e.g., MS Project Plan, Jira, MS Power Bi, etc.) - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to process complex information quickly - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in intercultural environments and large, complex projects - Proven ability to foster partnerships, consensus, and effective relationships with internal staff, clients, and external vendor/suppliers - Motivated, self-disciplined individual with the ability to operate with limited direction and supervision Certifications (preferred): - Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP certification - ITIL certification - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) - Certified Product Owner (CPO) or similar Interested Please send your resume to Zhanna Zajac at zhanna.zajac@quantum-qtr.com.
