Job Description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Manager, Enterprise Applications, you will contribute to Yamaha Motor Canada’s success by helping to grow and transform the Applications team. This includes managing and driving day-to-day projects and operational tasks (development / configuration) for our application utilized by our internal staff and dealers. This individual will focus their time aligning team members spread across multiple application streams, defining standard operating procedures, coordinating project activities, transforming legacy procedures, and supporting stakeholder requirements to ensure strict SLA adherence and superior customer service. This involves prioritizing work packages and ticket queues from both external and internal customers, managing expectations and communicating effectively. The successful candidate must be able to effectively work with multiple IT and business teams, driving continuous improvements in the pursuit of system reliability and performance. The Manager, Enterprise Application will also be expected to implement and actively monitor numerous key performance indicators to measure application performance, team deliverables, and customer satisfaction levels. Using these measurements, the individual will be expected to implement change that will improve and mature all aspects of the team’s mandate. With prior ITIL experience, the successful candidate will be expected to fully adopt the ITIL framework and toolsets to ensure adherence to our governance processes. This position has a high degree of visibility, including our Business, Dealers and Senior Leadership, reporting directly to the head of Information Technology and Innovation. Technical computer skills as well as excellent interpersonal, leadership and customer service skills are essential.This successful candidate will work cross-functionally across multiple business divisions, technical teams, and internal / external technical partners, and will be primarily working with:SAP Version(s): ECC 6 EHP7 and S/4 HANA (SD, MM, WM/EWM, TMS, APO, MDM/MDG, SAC, Concur)Salesforce ecosystem: Sales, Service, Experience, Data, Marketing, Personalization Siebel Warranty-Related ApplicationsDealer Management System(s): B2B Portals, Finance, Education, Knowledge…Other: Finance related applications, proprietary legacy, etc.KEY DUTIESamp; RESPONSIBILITIESManage all aspects of the Enterprise Application Landscape to ensure information integrity, availability and performance of systems and enabling the establishment of a working, optimized and stable environment for the users. Develop and manage the Enterprise Application projects through the creation of project plans, assignment of resources, monitoring progress, and certification/acceptance of project deliverables.Responsible for management and direction of staff, including planning, staffing, training, and performance reviewsProject coordination and management, ensuring schedule scope and budget are adhered to throughout project lifecycles including contract review and vendor management.Collaborate with internal and external technical resources to ensure a secure, seamless, reliable, and responsive application environment is provisioned and maintained.Collaborate with respective groups to ensure optimal and seamless service delivery.Manage the execution of effective delivery of agreed and specified services through monitoring service level quality indicators and reviewing operational priorities.Manage escalated problems and incidents to effect rapid restoration of services.Prepare post-mortem reports of major incidents and provide recommendations for changes in both practices and procedures and oversee the implementation of such recommendations.Manage the development, maintenance, and execution of annual, quarterly management plans and review monthly to ensure objectives are being met.Act as a catalyst between YMUS and YMCA to ensure objectives are aligned and resources are available to support our deliverables.Ensure the management of data protection policies, compliance and controls are adhered to within the Enterprise Application landscape.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSDegree/Diploma: Degree or equivalent work experienceProgram of Study: Commerce / Computer Science / Info Tech.Years of Experience: 3-5 years in Leadership/People Manager. 10+ years in IT field Type of Experience: Business Analysis, Project Delivery and IT Operations (Application)Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
