It #39;s a fabulous opportunity to make your mark and join our team in Toronto, Canada to be part of one of the world #39;s leading FinTech solution providers.The role - what you’ll do as a Senior Manager, New Business Sales:Reporting to our General Manager in North America, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in driving new business growth to optimise sales processes, foster collaboration to meet sales targets and align with the company #39;s business objectives.In this key role, you will:

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of AEs and SDRS to achieve sales targets by providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to enhance the team #39;s sales skills, product knowledge, and overall effectiveness;
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth;
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and partner success team to create effective lead-generation campaigns to drive a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and ensure effective onboarding;
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring the team follows best practices and meets or exceeds sales targets;
  • Monitor and analyse sales data, metrics, and pipeline reports to identify areas for improvement and drive revenue growth;
  • Establish clear performance metrics and targets for the team, including quarterly Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) goals and meeting attendance targets for SDRs;
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to support their professional growth and development.

  • 3+ years of managing AE sales teams;
  • Having been an AE yourself for several years;
  • Ability to work in a high volume, ever-changing sales environment;
  • Expert skills in using sales tools including Salesforce, Salesloft and others;
  • Superior leadership skills, with a focus on employee coaching and development;
  • A track record of success in B2B sales, with a primary focus on phone-based customer interactions;
  • Consistently surpassing sales targets, showcasing a self-driven and results-oriented approach;
  • A proactive and goal-driven individual;
  • Proficient in establishing and managing relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners at all organizational levels;
  • Approach sales in a consultative and process-driven manner, underpinned by remarkable written and verbal communication abilities;
  • Familiarity with the accounting and bookkeeping industry is a plus.
