Our client is a private holding company owning a variety of investments and businesses in iconic Canadian companies. The company is also a venture capital fund investing in technology-oriented start-ups. Headquartered in mid-town Toronto, they are a group of diverse, purpose driven, and results oriented organization. Reporting to the Vice President Tax, the Senior Manager Tax position is critical in supporting tax related activities across the group of companies including corporate tax advisory (acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations etc..), compliance and administration. We are looking for a progressive tax practitioner; a CPA with 4+ years in Canadian tax compliance and planning, preferably having completed, or at least pursuing, the In-Depth Tax program. Firm experience, or CPA firm with industry experience is ideal. The client offers an excellent, employee centric culture, including great work life balance and a hybrid Work from home model.
