Job Description

Senior Principal – Enterprise Data Lifecycle Management Infosys Consulting’s NAM SAP practice is currently seeking an Senior Principal with deep experience in Enterprise Data Lifecycle Management. As a thought leader in Enterprise Data Lifecycle Management, you will lead major projects and serve as a key customer-facing member of an Infosys Consulting team. You will contribute to the development of solutions to solve business problems and increase adoption of Infosys driven solutions. This position is responsible for delivering actionable value across the entire data management ecosystem. You will operate independently to provide quality work products to client engagements and perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment.About the RoleThis job requires skills and experience in the following areas: · Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to support clients in the areas of data. · Responsible for gathering business requirements in the areas of data governance, data strategy and data migration across all industry verticals, preparing requirement documents and supporting designing end-to-end solutions.· Experience in the data governance and data migration software key products such as Syniti· Knowledge of new master data processes and architectures· Ability to perform analytical calculations of data architecture platforms, provide accurate technical assessment of various approaches, and incorporate these into technology roadmaps.Responsibilities:· Manage senior client relationships at CxO, SVP and VP levels for data strategy, governance and migration components.· Work collaboratively with senior leadership for major ERP (SAP) enabled transformation programs.· Provide support to SAP ERPamp; Alliance Leadership globally.· Lead large scale Data Transformation, SAP Data Migration programs for our customers· Ensure excellence in project management and execution from project managers.· Serve as trusted advisor to client leadership.· Serve as mentor to junior staff and participates in firm-wide activities that drive knowledge sharing and contribute to firm culture.· Support account management/sales in business development and sales meetings· Work with pursuit teams to develop proposals and present at orals for transformation engagements.· Develop and mentor data management consultants including their training, certification and deployment in client engagements.· Provide thought leadership to enhance tools, templates and IP for Infosys Consulting Practice Development:Determine and implement strategy for the practice - where and how to compete and ensure operational discipline to enable practice growthBusiness Development:Leverage internal (e.g., IBU contacts, sales teams) and external (e.g., personal networks, professional networks, analysts) channels to identify clients where our services may provide significant business value and help create multi-million-dollar relationshipsCreate/identify multi-million-dollar opportunities within existing and new clients using visionary industry knowledge, intellectual capital, background in potential problem areas, knowledge of upcoming regulatory or market changes in order to create engagement opportunitiesEstimate sales potential, identify key clients, identify collaboration opportunities with IBUs, actively lead pursuits and contribute to the business planning of the groupActively participate in defining the portfolio of projects within the CRL Practice Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain professional relationship with senior and C-level client executives and expand professional network in client organizationsAbility to speak on behalf of the client`s best interests, and countering views of the client executives if necessaryAnchor new and existing client accounts, and interfacing on engagement-level client concerns Proposal Development:Lead teams to prepare large proposals and program plans, facilitate Infosys differentiators (like specific consulting frameworks, intellectual property etc.), articulate value proposition, review, and fine tune the financials, and lead proposal presentations in order to create a compelling proposition for the client to engage InfosysAnalyze the probability of winning the dealamp; the criticality of the deal for Infosys, as well as appropriately prepare for negotiations on terms and conditions of the engagement with the client, and obtain confirmation and approval from all internal stakeholders to ensure timely and smooth closure of the dealEngagement Management:Lead engagement planning, budgeting, resource mobilization and deliverable definitionLead project launch to ensure that the engagement is kicked off smoothlyReview the progress periodically with the team as well as the client, appropriately intervene in critical situations, and guide the team to address critical issues to ensure that the client realizes the business value articulated at the time of the deal closureActively participate in project governance including Steering Committee and Strategic Business Review sessionsBuild high morale and a highly effective teams and position programs for success Thought Leadership:Develop practice service offerings, solutions, and methodologiesDevelop point of views (POVs) and speak at events such as supply chain conferences, establishing self as an industry thought leaderAuthor multiple articles that advance the quality of supply chain servicesMentor others to actively publish in CRL periodicalsRecruitmentamp; People Management:Demonstrate the ability to attract, retain and develop top consulting talent and the next generation of Infosys Consulting leadersIdentify upcoming skill needs and potential sourcing pools, interview candidates, influence a favorable perception of Infosys as an employer, and decide on offer details to ensure that the practice has the appropriate skills requiredPerform the role of counselor and coach, provide feedback and guidance, actively participate in performance reviews, provide leadership and act as role model for team members Basic Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.· U.S. citizens and those already authorized to work in the U.S. Infosys is unable to sponsor visas at this time.· 10+ years of experience in business process consulting specifically leading data management value-stream · 5+ years of experience leading and driving SAP data transformation and data migration programs· Strong domain expertise in data management including proficiency with tools such as Syniti · Digital transformation and Data Transformation programs experience in Consumer Products, Retail and Logistics industry vertical.· Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communications skills· Passion for transforming our clients’ businesses to unlock value for their shareholders, clients, and partners.· Ability to travel up to 4 days a week to multiple local, state and/or national client locations.· Ability to travel internationally for select client meetings for business development and/or delivery purposes.· Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team, including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.
