Job Description

The mission of the CHD Fab Training team is to train, retain, and develop world-class talent, define and support a strong and winning culture, and ensure NXP Semiconductor has the organizational capabilities to be a technology leader to win in the marketplace.Primary responsibilities include:

  • Build and sustain core fundamental training and development programs for all disciplines within the factory
  • Drive key strategic manufacturing improvement programs
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external customer audit requirements with regards to Training and Development
  • Facilitate NXP Total Quality Culture initiatives
  • Coordinate, administer and/or track factory training such as New Employee Orientation (NEO), Train-the-Trainer, Protocol/5S, annual refreshers and company required training
  • Execute various pre- and post-NEO training activities to enable successful onboarding of new hires
  • Evaluate and adjust training processes to continuously improve and adapt to an everchanging environment
  • Provide innovative, real time, quick response, and solutions to training issues while maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Collaborate with contract labor provider to align on and maintain training standards and guidelines
  • Monitor Training process to assure conformance to quality standards and specifications
  • Develop and write specifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher level education degree is preferred
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven leadership experience in Manufacturing and Training & Development
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to influence through data
  • Proven ability to bring new solutions to creatively solve complex scenarios
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and work across highly matrixed organization
  • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills
