We are looking for individuals that aren’t afraid to work hard, work safe, pride themselves on attention to detail, communicate effectively with our customers and are always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction for our customers.We have one (1) full-time, salaried year-round positions (no seasonal layoffs) available that start on or before July 12, 2022. Salary range starts between $40,000-$45,000 ($21.63 per hour) per annum with an automatic increase of ($5,000 or up to $24.04 per hour) with shared medical and dental benefits following the successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.Reporting to the Branch Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Landscaping including lawn cutting and trimming, core aeration, power raking, edging, fertilizer applications, flower bed maintenance, light trash pick-up and general upkeep of residential and commercial properties.
• Snow removal operations including hand shoveling, the use of gas powered back pack blowers, single-stage snow blowers, truck-mounted hydraulic snow plows and skid steers.
• Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the company’s health and safety program.
• Compliance with all HHS Contracting Environmental policies and programs.
• Daily vehicle and equipment operation and maintenance checks.  Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario driver’s license with abstract certifying clean driving record preferred.
• Minimum Grade 12, some post-secondary education preferred.
• Previous landscaping and grounds maintenance experience with strong environmental practices.
• Must possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures regarding hazardous products, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Current certification in First Aid/CPR is an asset.
• Skilled in time management, prioritizing tasks and working under pressure.
• Display physical mobility and stamina.
• Able to attend to details and follow instructions.
• Able to work independently, quickly and safely.
• Possess good communication, organization and teamwork skills.
• Computer skills are an asset.
• Security Clearance required prior to offer of employment.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Possess sensational customer service philosophy.
• Highly organized, results oriented and ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Ability to work long shifts 8-12 hours in duration on successive days
• Ability to move heavy objects
• Lifting and Carrying 44-66 lbs
• Pushing and Pulling 75 lbs
• Bending, kneeling and repetitive tasks/movements
• Working in variety of weather conditions, with temperature ranges of -20c to +30c

• Applicant must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Applicant must have a work permit or valid and verifiable SIN
