Jarlette Health Services is proud to offer competitive wages, benefit packages and career advancement opportunities.The Unit Clerk is responsible and accountable for a wide variety of clerical duties in support of care and services to promote the overall well being of our residents . In this role, you would perform a range of clerical duties required to ensure that information on the units is updated and organized, as well as be responsible for efficient flow and availability of information. This role is also responsible for promoting a positive experiences with residents, family members and guests, organizing work within the unit, and interacting with other departments to ensure seamless resident care.Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Previous experience working in healthcare environment preferred
  • General knowledge of office practices, processes, and procedures
  • Computer proficiency
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
