  • 3D modeling environments optimized for mobile devices
  • Creation of textures in different resolutions for specific devices
  • Follow the guidelines and concept art provided
  • Apply and maintain a consistent art style across all assets throughout the project
  • Adapting to different game styles (realistic, cartoon, pixel, etc.)
  • Communicate technically for the implementation of the asset, shader and element scheduler
  • Work with programmers to ensure implementation matches intent
QualificationsRequirements:
  • Knowledge of mobile video games including the 3D experience (6 months experience)
  • Strong skills in Maya or 3DS Max, proficient with Photoshop
  • Illustration and drawing skills. Excellent eye for color, shape and composition
  • Understanding of the game development process
  • Knowledge of mobile art techniques for cutting edge optimization, custom light maps etc.
  • Passion for the industry and an understanding of market trends and styles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team, organized and independent in nature
  • Ability to understand technical implementations and limitations
  • Ability to work with a schedule and budget
  • Be able to self-manage, accurately estimate time to complete tasks, achievable deadlines and manage priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Highly motivated and passionate about interaction and game designs
  • Knowledge of media (games, comics, movies, etc.)
  • Basic programming skills or experience with the Unity platform is an asset
  • Experience with shader development and next-gen textures
  • Experiment with particles and in-game effects
  • Other 3D skills, such as character experience and animation
  • Fluent in both French and English
