More than just a job, we offer rewarding careers.Job DescriptionThe Acquisition & Marketing Analytics (“A&M”) team combines talent from data scientists and actuaries to propose and develop solutions to support our partners’ strategies. AMD is responsible for the assessment and measurement of targeted initiatives by using, maintaining and developing various predictive models. The team will also play a key role in creating tools using advanced analytics to improve the digital experience for the customers. Initiatives supporting our partners are designed to drive profitable growth, to have long-term potential and to be customer-focused.The Analyst, A&M will significantly contribute to the organization’s profitability by being involved in the following key activities:

  • Perform numerous analyses to support targeted profitable growth and customers experience improvement
  • Design solutions using advanced techniques (predictive modeling, text-mining, etc) for marketing and digital strategies
  • Act as a subject matter expert in projects involving numerous departments such as Marketing, Model Factory, Digital, Pricing, etc.
  • Work with 3rd party vendor to explore new data/process opportunities
  • Identify areas of opportunity that could help TDI achieve its objectives
  • Remain accountable for the success of acquisition, marketing and digital initiatives and drive results to achieve expected benefits and outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial, Mathematics or related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an actuarial or data science role;
  • Knowledge of an open source programming language and/or modeling/machine learning techniques;
  • Has a strong problem-solving skills and problem analysis skills;
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in French and English;
  • Strong collaborator who engages colleagues, business partners and external stakeholders ;
  • Superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with ability to present information or arguments in a convincing manner
  • Ability to drive change and influence with stakeholders at various levels of the organization;
  • Shows initiative and creativity in their work;
