Job Description

• You will support VOSKER in ensuring the companys compliance with applicable international laws and regulations, particularly with regard to the protection and confidentiality of personal data;
• You will draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and other legal documents, including sales, distribution, procurement and information technology;
• You will participate in the identification of ongoing corporate governance needs to control and manage the business risks of the company.
• You will participate in the development of policies supporting this good governance;
• You will participate in the development and implementation of VOSKERs internal and external policies and processes to support good corporate governance at VOSKER
• You will define and implement interdepartmental processes to ensure proper contract management and increased efficiency of the legal department;
• You will participate in the training and education of employees in the various departments on legal risks and opportunities;

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in law
• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial or business law;
• Minimum of 3 years experience in data privacy and security compliance management;
• A good ability to work in a team;
• Be autonomous, resourceful and organized;
• Demonstrate rigor, commitment, be curious and proactive;
• Ability to work under high pressure and make critical decisions;
• Ability to communicate in both French and English (written/verbal). Frequent communication outside of Quebec.
• Be creative and have a facility for proposing legal solutions that support the growth of the business; and
• Be motivated and passionate about excellence, innovation and contributing to the growth and success of the company;
