Job Description

AIR INUIT CORPORATE PROFILEAir Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, chartered, cargo and emergency air transport services to Nunavik and beyond- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - for over 43 years. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs approximately 910 employees in one of the world’s most challenging flight environments.Air Inuit Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to pursuing their tradition of providing safe, punctual and courteous air service for the growing number of people living and doing business in this enchanting region of Nunavik in Northern Québec.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the Company’s Safety Management System.
  • Track and publish time blocks for crew members.
  • Process changes to the schedule and flights as required.
  • Coordinate with the Chief Pilots, the Chief Flight Attendant and the Commercial Department for schedule changes, crew training, etc.
  • Make travel and hotel reservations for crew members as required.
  • Enter data into various computer systems.
  • Other tasks necessary and required by the company to ensure operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem management skills.
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually.
  • Knowledge of various computer programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience, training or knowledge of flight operations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the current regulations regarding duty time, rest periods, etc.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
