Just ask!Job LevelNV-09As an Analyst - Security - Information Protection, you help protect IT hardware, software and data against modification, destruction, and accidental or unauthorized disclosure. You also assist in authentication and access control by designing, administering and controlling proven security systems. You analyze IT system vulnerabilities and implement protective measures to back up, restore and secure systems.You analyze and diagnose complex IT security issues; provide opinions based on your discipline’s rules; recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs; and propose implementation plans. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.You coordinate the planning, design and execution of projects and initiatives. You help solve complex problems requiring comprehensive analysis and knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in other technology fields.You serve as subject matter expert for your unit, clients and partners.General Information on the PositionMain Responsibilities

  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support operational planning, inform decision-making and monitor the application of management policies and practices. Make recommendations
  • Analyze risks and write reports. Recommend solutions and provide advice on how to implement them. Prepare and recommend action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters
  • Help develop, implement and update policies, practices and standards

  • Workplace : Position located in Montreal or Levis, depending on the candidates preference. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in computer science and/or information security
  • Experience as a business analyst or as a security analyst (an asset)
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • CISSP, CCSP certification (an asset)
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
