Job Description

Primary Locations: Montreal, QuebecEmployee Status: RegularSchedule: Full-timeIT Delivery – Wealth Management and Brokerage Operations in Montreal is currently seeking a BI - Analytics Analyst/Developer. The sector’s mission consists of delivering projects and supporting the various business lines in their operations and development.More information about the role:

  • Act as analyst and contact person for the business lines
  • Create and develop reports
  • Participate in a decommissioning and migration project toward other analytics technologies
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in plain language for users of analytics platforms
  • Work together with external resources (Thailand and Saguenay)
  • Help resolve incidents, outages and irregularities
Your profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience of 5 to 7 years in development with one or more of the following data visualization tools: Power BI, SAP BO, MS SSRS and MS SSAS
  • Experience with ETL technologies (such as Datastage), an asset
  • Knowledge of the data virtualization platform Denodo, a considerable asset
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience and/or interest in the brokerage industry
  • Motivation to learn new things and challenge yourself
  • Desire to work in an environment where autonomy and creativity are encouraged
  • Ability to take a leadership role and ensure that the objectives of various squads are met through teamwork
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French)
